Introducing the TEI Teacher Training & Certification Program
The Emotional Tour™ or formerly known as Femme! is a movement experience that fuses primal movement, sensual dance, meditation, creative visualization, and celebration of the human form. It is inspired by African, Tribal, and Free Dance, interwoven with the somatic and primal healing arts. Femme! creates sacred, safe spaces and invites everyone to reclaim and boldly display their power.
This healing work is profound and effective. With all that’s going on in the world these days, there’s an even greater need for the somatic support provided through The Emotional Tour™ (Femme!).
When you become “TEI Attuned,” as we call it, you’re certified to teach The Emotional Tour™ classes online and in person. You can also incorporate this mind-body wellness program into your work with private clients or in retreats.
Our 4-Day Teacher’s Training is designed to immerse you in the teachings of The Emotional Tour™ (Femme!) as a philosophy, perspective and practice. The training will invite you into a deeper exploration of this work on a personal level, as well as prepare you to facilitate others through through this somatic experience.

Q. Do I need to know how to dance to teach this class? +
No. We don't teach dance, we teach freedom of movement and emotional release.
Q. I’ve never led a movement class. Can I still participate in the Teacher’s Training? +
Absolutely. In this immersive training you’ll learn the art of teaching and leading. No prerequisites required, just a deep desire to share these teachings with others.
Q. Can men take the training? +
Absolutely. All are welcome.
Q. Why is it formerly called Femme!? +
Emotional shutdown has become an acceptable way of being. We have the opportunity to rebirth ourselves with choice. Birthing only happens with the Feminine. Thus, the name Femme! was born.
Q. I thought that this experience was called Femme! Why have you changed the name of it? +
Femme! was the perfect name for this experience at the time that it was created.
Over the years, this body of work was appealing to a more diverse group of people, including men’s groups and people that don’t identify as female.
We have grown and expanded and the decision to change the name to the Emotional Tour™️ is a reflection of that.
Q. I don’t intend to teach large group classes. Is this training for me? +
Some of our trainers work with clients individually or in small groups; some integrate it into their existing body of work. You get to do this in a way that works for you.
Q. How soon after training will I be able to teach?
You are able to teach The Emotional Tour™ (Femme!) as soon as you are licensed. Our upcoming class includes a 1-year license in the cost of participating, so you’ll be able to teach right after the training is over.
Q. You use African Drums during The Emotional Tour™. Are they a required element for all classes? Is it considered cultural appropriation if I use them? +
Drums are a natural healing tool that relaxes our nervous system, which in turn allows us to go deeper in our movement and experience an even greater emotional release. Although I use live African drumming in each The Emotional Tour™ class, it is not required. And if you do choose to use them, live or recorded, you are not appropriating them. Drums of one type or another have been used across all cultures, by all skin colors, throughout all times.
