Yet, in today’s world, we’re often taught to contain or constrict our emotions; don’t be too moody, too sensitive, too angry, too much. Because of that, we can consciously or unconsciously become out of touch with our own emotional intelligence, which can lead to stress, fatigue, and even illness. Everything from life’s daily rigors to deep traumas can leave us feeling depleted, shut down, and disconnected.
This was the inspiration behind the creation of the Emotional Institute®. Bernadette Pleasant, an expert in Health & Wellness, Somatic Healing, Sacred and Sensual Movement and Grief Facilitation, has taken decades of experience and developed multi-sensory techniques that help anyone seeking a fully embodied state of emotional living.
